Thanks for starting this discussion; I think people should really be talking about this.

I know some people who have their cheques, It appears that only people that have their 2006 CAIS finalized, however when you get the cheque you have not idea how it is being calculated.

Our Farm was not part of CAIS as we have been working on building our cow herd our Account told us not to worry about thing until 2007 as we will have enough years in business.

We Run 200 cows and after sending in the forms that were required, I followed up with a call yesterday, I was informed that is will be 3 months until our AFRP 2 program forms are even looked at.  And that is if they have all the 2006 CAIS files finalized. The lady I talked to was kinda rude, and not nice about the fact that I was calling. 

I dont know what you think but from where I am sitting, This money according to the Ag Minister should have been getting in to the hands of producers imminently.... In my option 4 months from the Time the program was announced is not soon enough.
