Red Roundup

How did the Red Roundup go?  There are no sales results anywhere, besides the pix on Grantspix.

I attended Red Round Up with cattle and although I couldn't tell you any speciifics since I left just before the sale started I heard it went phenomanally well. The high seller was Red Ter-Ron Fully Loaded with the Rob Roy bull calf from Miller Wilson as the second high selling bull and the bred heifer from Get-a-long as the high selling female. The high selling semen lots were the YY Red Knight semen and the Rob Roy semen, and the high selling embryo lot was the Miss Essence lot.

In the bull show Ter-Ron won with a march Fully Loaded calf and Lewis farms were reserve with a Red Northline King 305J calf (a bull sired by YY Red Knight), the Club Red Champion was actually the Ter-Ron calf that won the Bull Futurity as well.

All in all a very exciting and well run event as usual. Lots of breeders from other breeds and lots and lots of new, young and old red angus breeders.

Anyone out there know any sale numbers?
